WELCOME TO T1 FITNESS
Hi, I'm Simon, the head coach at T1 Fitness. I opened this facility to accommodate all abilities, so everyone is welcome. I've worked in the industry for nearly 10 years as a strength coach and personal trainer.
In my 20s, I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. It was a shock and caused me to change my life to take care of my health. It is very rare to be diagnosed at this age.
More & more people struggle with type 1 & type 2 diabetes every day. So I created this facility to help anyone with diabetes get into fitness and learn how to manage the disease. READ MORE >>>

SIMON
LEE
For nearly a decade, I've dedicated my career to the fitness industry.
It all began while juggling a part-time fitness course with my sales job in the fitness sector and my role in fitting gym equipment for the Olympics. After achieving my Level 2 fitness qualification, I volunteered at various places to gain experience and build my reputation. My commitment to learning continued as I earned my Level 3 Personal Trainer certification, Level 4 strength qualification, GP referral certification, Ricky Hatton boxing qualification, and pre and post-natal training.
I'm always striving to improve my knowledge and skills.

All I can say is Simon Lee can programme a workout better than any other coach or personal trainer that I have ever trained with.
I have played sport my whole life. More recently I took up CrossFit. This changed my attitude towards training and my physique. I was a member of a CrossFit gym for 10 years. It took its toll on me.
I was training alongside some serious crossfitters and it was not sustainable. My body was constantly knackered and people around me were injuring themselves. After most training sessions I could not walk for days. Dom’s they say … I now realise bad programming and not good for the female form.
I strained my hip flexers and had to resort to rehabilitation… Simon has been an incredibly consistent and wise PT. He gets female strengths and plays to them. He understands when life gets in the way and is incredibly flexible and caring. He understands that at certain times of the month women can’t do as much as other times of the month.
He is gifted in writing workouts that use the whole body. Every workout is meaningful and each part of the workout makes sense and is physically rewarding.
Simon gets his clients. He gets people of all ages and ability. I have watched him coach classes too and he is consistent and good at what he does.
He does not ever overwork certain areas. He is a great teacher. He is encouraging, calm, kind and most importantly he gets results.
